For those of you who are too lazy to do a Wikipedia search, John Glenn (aka Magnet Ass) is an old dude who flew in some space missions which then qualified him for pooblik office as a Democratic Senator from Ohio. Glenn seems like one of those guys who could never quite get to the level of notoriety as those who were close to him like Carter (questionable) or The Kennedy Brothers. Case in point: Glenn never got his brains blown out. His televised face punch is only a bruise on the chin of history.

On October 25th 1989 Glenny boy was at a tree planting ceremony at the Smithsonian Institute when Micheal John Breen, following in the tradition of tri-named public political assaulters, walked up and served the space man a knuckle sandwich hold the mayoh shit. Glenn being the tough sommamabitch he is held his jaw while Breen was dragged away to jail.
